Not only does the LRC offer a wide and growing range of media and multimedia resources for foreign language exposure, practice and study, but our programs and research strive to introduce new ways of thinking about media and how we use it.
The LRC offers dozens of foreign language television and radio options in its facilities as well as links to hundreds of channels of streaming foreign language television and radio through the LRC language websites. The Center also holds online subscriptions with access to thousands of foreign language films. In addition, we host and author several Wordpress pages in target languages, providing a dynamic source for online resources for foreign language study, practice and assessment. The Center also provides technical and pedagogical assistance for the use of international media and technology as part of your personal learning environment.
The LRC provides DishWorld IPTV broadcasts of select Arabic and Portuguese programming via Roku boxes located in the Vols Room and the Media Group Viewing Room.

In addition to the expanding collection of onsite films used for academic purposes by MFLL instructors and available on a limited basis to students, the LRC subscribes to streaming film sites that hold hundreds of international film titles showcased in MFLL courses and accompanied by moderated discussion.
